Shaw Hill Retain the Mayors Cup in its Centenary Year

The Shaw Hill and Chorley Gents and Ladies Teams battled out the annual Mayors Cup over the weekend of 16/17 August. The fine weather continued to shine, which helped golfers from both sides deliver some exceptional golf and results.

Shaw Hill Gents and Ladies teams were both victorious, what was remarkable is that both Mens and Ladies Centenary Captains Neil and Carol Haworth were the best overall individual winners - this has never been achieved  before and for it to happen in the Centenary year is truly remarkable - Congratulations to them both for leading from the front and bringing the Trophies Home !!

Needless to say - Partying continued throughout the evening.
